      3 Crossroads is a load balance and fail over utility for TCP based
      4 services. It is a daemon program running in user space, and features
      5 extensive configurability, polling of back ends using 'wakeup calls',
      6 detailed status reporting, 'hooks' for special actions when backend
      7 calls fail, and much more. Crossroads is service-independent: it is
      8 usable for HTTP(S), SSH, SMTP, DNS, etc. In the case of HTTP
      9 balancing, Crossroads can provide 'session stickiness' for back-end
     10 processes that need sessions, but aren't session-aware of other back-ends.
